Do I need a special licence to drive on UpDash?
For food delivery you need a valid Mauritian driving licence for the vehicle you plan to use (moto, scooter or car). For tiTaxi you need your existing registered taxi licence and vehicle documents.
Do I need my own vehicle?
Yes. UpDash does not currently provide vehicles. You can use your own moto, scooter, or car for food delivery, or your registered taxi for tiTaxi.
How much can I earn?
Earnings depend on how many hours you drive, which area you cover, and the time of day. Our team will walk you through current rates during onboarding — we prefer honest numbers to vague promises.
How long does the application take?
The form on this page takes about two minutes. We review applications within a business day and reach out to confirm next steps and the documents you need to bring.
Can I drive food delivery and tiTaxi at the same time?
Yes — but only if you apply as a registered taxi. Registered taxi drivers can accept both tiTaxi rides and food delivery jobs through the same UpDash Driver app. Private individuals on a moto, scooter or car can drive food delivery only.
